Welcome from our President

On behalf of the Williston Area chamber of Commerce, I extend a warm welcome to residents, business owners, and visitors. The Chamber exists to provide services and support to our business community by promoting commerce in Williston. In addition, we are here to promote the interests of the entire Williston community. Our Chamber was established in 1985 and is still plays a vital role with over 100 members.

What do we love about Williston? It’s not just the gateway to the nature coast, the crossroads of Florida, abundant in natural resources, and full of hidden treasures; it’s a city full of people who make a difference. It is important to us to promote local business opportunities and also to work for the betterment of our students and our citizens. We are here to build relationships with all organizations and institutions and to provide services for the benefit of advertising, networking, local event planning and support.

We have some exciting opportunities for you this year as we roll out our new brand, increase our presence through social media, and introduce our new website. Our dedicated and diverse board of directors meets bi-monthly to discuss issues, programs and events to help business thrive. Some of those events include the Annual Installation Banquet, 4th of July Celebration, Annual Peanut Festival, and the Annual Christmas Parade.

We strive to build strong relationships in this community. The Chamber is working hard for you. We invite you to get involved, stay involved, and help us to help you make Williston an even better place to live, work, and visit.
